Course: Certified Nursing Assistant Review
Course Description
This course will prepare you to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA. In preparing you to be a CNA, this course focuses on how to perform tasks under the supervision of nursing and medical staff such as help patients eat, dress, and bathe; provide skin care to patients; take their temperatures, pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure; and help patients get in and out of bed and walk. You will also learn how to keep patients’ rooms neat, set up equipment, store and move supplies, and assist with some procedures.
Certificate
This course is meant as a supplement for the CNA course and CNA Clinical. Completion of this as a part of completing the other two will result in the completion of the SLTATC Certified Nursing Assistant Program as well as prepare you to sit for the Utah Registry of Health Professions CNA Certification test.
