Program: Medical Billing and Coding
Medical Coders can work at doctor’s offices, insurance companies, clinics or hospitals and from home. They maintain patients’ records using a universally recognized coding system to ensure compliance with federal, state and insurance requirements and regulations. Medical Billers is a subspecialty of medical coding that insures documentation to bill and collect monies for services rendered is done accurately and in a timely manner.

Math and English levels:
Adult students will be assessed using the
Test of Adult Basic English (TABE) Locator
and Survey or through high school or
college transcripts. High School students
will be assessed by their counselor.
Admission Requirements:
• At least 16 years old at time of training
• Background check for adults
Occupation & Licensure Requirements:
• Employers may require you be 18 years old

$15.00 per hour
